Software Developer (Laravel)

Laravel Developer will be responsible to design web applications, websites, and services. Must build, and test reusable and efficient PHP modules. Responsible to write secure modular codes, creating modern applications, and use innovative workarounds for issues in collaboration with other developers.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Design and implement web applications that use the Laravel framework.
  • Liaise with backend and front-end developers.
  • Implement server-side logic to process front inputs.
  • Identify and fix bugs that are found within the code.
  • Interact with SQL databases.
  • Ensure all inputs going to a database have been parameterized.
  • Ensure the appropriate security standards have been implemented.
  • Experience working with PHP, performing unit testing, and managing APIs such as REST.
  • Create written documentation for the different components.

Skills, Expertise, and Qualifications -

Requirements:

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT from a reputed institute
  • Must possess a passion for programming
  • 2-4 years of experience in Laravel Development 

Technical Skills:

  • The ability to problem-solve and critically think
  • High level of knowledge of PHP and the Laravel framework
  • Understanding of the MVC pattern
  • Proven experience with MySQL databases

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication skills (might be involved in one-to-one meeting with clients)
  • Open-minded team player, willing to accept feedback and offer suggestions
  • Good time management and project management
  • Willingness to learn modern-day tools and processes
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Creativity and accountability
